Instrumentenbendes in de klas: drie voorbeelden

In 2018, the first “Strikersbende” made itself heard at Dick Bruna primary school. 28 students from group 5 have made music on a (three-quarter or half) violin or (half) cello, under the guidance of our violin teacher Kim de Beer and cello teacher Marjan van Randeraat. The instruments for this string class were rented from a local violin maker. The costs of this rent were so high that we have to organize string instruments in a different way for the future.

“Het Palet “primary school in Hapert was one of the participants in the Muziekimpuls. In addition to Art4U, harmony “Kunst Adelt” was also a collaborating party. With great enthusiasm and fantastic support for this harmony, we started in 2017 in groups 5 and 6 under the inspiring leadership of our teacher Pieter van den Broek with a blowing gang and a percussion gang in the classroom with an extracurricular continuation at the harmony. At that time, the harmony had no beginners orchestra and there was hardly any young recruits.

Three years of music impulse and just as many wind and percussion bands at school have resulted in a lot of music in the classroom and beyond: Harmonie” Kunst Adelt” has again a beginner's orchestra of 22 young musicians! They successfully participated in the “Long Live Music” competition. They are the winners of the province of Brabant and were therefore allowed to participate in the national “Long Live Music” competition!

In addition to playing a wind instrument or percussion, the Palet has also successfully followed a “Keys Gang” by our teachers Niels Tiebosch and Sandor Stürbl. The end result was, among other things, an exciting rendition of the song “Villa Volta” from the Efteling attraction of the same name.
