WHAT IS CLASSICAL PERCUSSION?

The name classical percussion is used to indicate a specific group of percussion instruments. These are the instruments used in various types of orchestras (such as harmony, fanfare, brass band, symphony and percussion orchestra) and include snare drum (snare drum), timpani, concert bass drum, percussion cymbals, marimba, chimes, xylophone, vibraphone, but also effect instruments such as tambourine, triangle, bongos, temple blocks, cowbell, guiro etc.
