WHAT IS AN OBOE?

The oboe is the most important instrument in the orchestra because of its central position and main melodies in each piece of music.
Its clean, recognizable sound is due to the oboe's slender posture and, of course, to the double reed that you blow through.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

The oboe is rich in all musical styles. From very early music, the Baroque (think of the wig era) to contemporary well-known music. In the lessons you will encounter all kinds of styles of music. We have fun methods and books with real music pieces that have an accompaniment track so you can play along with the music at home. This way you are already somewhat in control of your own orchestra. WHEN CAN YOU START AN OBOE LESSON?

You can start oboe lessons at Art4U from the age of 7, there is no age limit. If you are very young it is important to know that you have switched your two front teeth top and bottom before you start using this instrument. Any braces treatments in the future will not cause any problems when playing the oboe because you don't press against anything with the braces.
