WHAT IS A RECORDER?

The recorder is back! We have known the recorder since the Middle Ages. The Baroque period was a heyday due to the decorative possibilities of the instrument. With its beautiful, warm and clear sound, the instrument is greatly appreciated by young and old. There are many different recorders in various shapes and sizes.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO YOU LEARN?

The didactic concept of the recorder lessons is based on a combination of playing, listening, presenting, improvising, posture and technique. Above all, we have a lot of fun playing and many styles are covered.
We learn to read notes and play songs in a playful way, together or solo, with CD or piano. We also regularly play together and form an ensemble. For adults there is also a possibility to play in an ensemble. The teacher discusses with the student which ensemble is suitable for him/her.

WHEN CAN YOU START WITH RECORDER LESSONS?

Children start with their small hands on a soprano recorder. They can take lessons from the age of 5. Adults can choose whether to start on a soprano, alto, tenor, or bass recorder.
